Astroneer Coming To PlayStation 4 In November

Publisher, Gearbox software has proudly announced that their space-traveling game, Astroneer is launching into orbit for the PlayStation 4 on November 15th, 2019. The PS4 release will feature all of the content currently available for Xbox One and PC as well as a PS4 exclusive visor and suit set. Anyone who pre-orders Astroneer on the PS4 will receive a free theme complete with audio from the game’s soundtrack.

Amongst the aforementioned content is the brand new Explorer update which will also be on the Xbox One and PC versions of the game. This update introduces a jet-pack, a jump-jet, a host of new items and platforms, and lastly an in-game camera that will allow players to share their journey like never before.


In Astroneer players are able to play on their own or with a group of friends as they explore a galaxy full of planets. You’ll find yourself excavating and elevating land to find and collect valuable resources that are used to research new technology. Vehicle crafting and base building are just two of the things you can do in this interstellar adventure game.

Astroneer launches digitally for PlayStation 4 on November 15th and is now available to pre-order. A physical edition will be made available soon with more information on its way at some point. The Explorer update will launch for Xbox One and PC on September 4th, 2019 and will be part of the PS4 release in November.
