Borderlands 3 Rare Spawn Hunt Begins Today

As part of the month-long Borderlands 10-year anniversary celebrations, which is now in week 2, 2K has announced that the Borderlands 3 Rare Spawn Hunt begins today (8th October) at 17.00 pm BST. This is your opportunity to gain some legendary items, which are usually very rare.

If you have played Borderlands 3 yet, then you’ve no likely come across at least one rare spawn on any of the game’s planets. These named creatures can be found lurking through the galaxy and sometimes pop up on the bounty board. During the  Borderlands 3 Rare Spawn Hunt event, each one of the below mentioned rare spawns is guaranteed to appear in their designated location with an increased chance of dropping a legendary item.

  • Rakkman – Night Flyer, Legendary Pistol
  • El Dragon Jr – Unleash the Dragon, Legendary Artifact
  • Road Dog – Redline, Legendary Shotgun
  • IndoTyrant – Random Customization
  • Force Troopers – Random Legendary class mods
  • Demoskaggon – Random Legendary Shield
  • The Unstoppable – Band of Sytorak, Legendary Shield
  • Thunk & Sloth – It’s Piss, Legendary Grenade Mod
  • Maxitrillion – The Horizon, Legendary Shotgun
  • Borman Nates – Psycho Stabber, Legendary Pistol
  • Princess Tarantella II – Hive, Legendary Rocket Launcher
  • Mother of Dragons – Random Legendary Artifacts
  • Red Jabber  Random Legendary Grenade Mod
  • Urist McEnforcer – Masterwork Crossbow, Legendary Sniper Rifle

Running from the 8th of October 2019 at 17.00 pm until the 15th of October at 16.59 pm, this is your chance to get some of the rarest loot in the game, so be sure to fire Borderlands 3 up and get hunting so you don’t miss out.

From this week onwards the events are as follows:

Week 2 (October 8-14): Rare Spawn Hunt!
Week 3 (October 15-21): Show Me the Eridium!
Week 4 (October 22-28): Mayhem on Twitch!
Week 5 (October 29 – November 4): Spooky Surprise!
