Call of Duty Modern Warfare Resurfaces

For many, the Modern Warfare sub-series of Call of Duty, with it’s “boots on the ground” focus on realism and memorable characters is the best, or at least their favourite.

Well, now players can rejoice because the much beloved series has had a makeover and I’m not talking about Modern Warfare Remastered that released alongside Infinite Warfare not so long ago. This time, rumour has it, Call of Duty Modern Warfare is getting a reboot. Fans of Captain Price will be glad to see that the character has made a return, as for other members of his squad, particularly “Soap” the character you plays as for much of the Modern Warfare series, we’ll have to wait and see. It’s worth noting at the end of the trailer, when asked who his team will be, Captain Price responds with “some old comrades.”

This new title is also rumoured to have cross play functionality, though given Sony’s stance on that feature, we’ll have to wait and see if it turns out to be true.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is due to be released on October 25th and is available to pre-order on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
