Caustic Reality and Blowfish Studios have today announced that their psychological horror game, Infliction is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in Q4 of 2019 after spending some time on the PC.
Infliction sees you wandering through a home cursed by tragedy, where you’ll uncover secrets within household objects and other things you’d encounter within a domestic setting. As you explore the house you’ll find clues and unlock new paths, all while trying to avoid the malevolent spirit that haunts the dwelling. Youll have to avoid the spirit by hiding under tables or beds and other household furniture items.
A story-driven approach and a dynamic atmosphere aim to create a very unsettling first-person experience. By combining elements of everyday life and the supernatural, the developers have delivered an adventure full of terrifying moments. Clinton McCleary, founder of Caustic Reality had the following to say about his game.
“I set out to create a horror experience grounded in real-world problems that resonates with players and am looking forward to scaring everyone when we unleash it on consoles later this year.”
Infliction is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One via their respective digital marketplaces in Q4 of 2019. It will cost $19.99, €17.99, £15.99, and $24.99 AUD. Check out the official trailer below.
