The day has finally come, as Bandai Namco Entertainment has released Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch Remastered for PlayStation 4 and PC. A direct port of the original is also due to launch for Nintendo Switch on September 20th.
Originally released back in 2011 for PlayStation 3, Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is a JRPG with an interesting cast of characters, an engaging story, and the most impressive in-game cutscenes animated by Studio Ghibli.
Taking on the role of Oliver, a little boy you will embark on a strange adventure in a most wonderful world full of secrets and monsters to fight. I won’t say too much but the story is fantastic and really does know how to hook a player.
Having played this game back on PlayStation 3 in the day, I can safely say it’s a fantastic RPG well worth a go if you’ve never played it before or if you want to relive it, which I know I certainly want to do. There’s also a second game in the series, known as Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. Both games feature a different story and characters with no real connection.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is available to purchase now on PC and PS4 both digitally and at retail locations. The Switch version, missing the ”Remastered” moniker will be available from September 20th.
