The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have announced that Pokémon Sword And Shield will be receiving an Expansion Pass in 2020 alongside two new additional expansions. The Expansion Pass is now available to prepurchase for £26.99.

With the Expansion Pass, trainers will have access to the two new expansions, The Isle of Armor, and, The Crown Tundra. Both of these new expansions will feature a new area for trainers to explore, new Pokémon, new clothing, new items, and so much more.

As a bonus, anyone who purchases the Expansion Pass will receive a Pikachu and an Eevee uniform which can be worn in the standard game and expansions.

The Expansions

The Isle of Armor which is due to be released by the end of June 2020, will see trainers travel to the isle to take on a whole new adventure on an island full of environments never before seen in the Galar Region. Home to plenty of Pokémon that make the various landscapes their home, Trainers will have a blast catching new Pokémon and battling familiar ones.

Set in a snow-swept realm, The Crown Tundra features a beautiful white landscape of shiny shimmering snow as well as a task given to trainers by a certain someone. New and old Pokémon alike await for trainers to meet and capture. The Crown Tundra is set to release in Autumn 2020.
