Dotemu has today revealed the platforms that Streets Of Rage 4 will be available on and boy do fans have something to be happy about as the game will be on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch when it launches in 2020. As well as this platform news, they’ve also announced a new character to the game, known as, Cherry hunter, via a YouTube trailer.
Cherry Hunter is the daughter of Adam Hunter from the original Streets Of Rage. At a young age, she learned self-defense from her father and Axel. However, her interest in following her father’s footsteps very quickly faded away, instead being replaced by a love for music. While you’ll catch her playing music with her band, you should be warned that despite her previous interest fading away she’s still good at kicking ass.
The trailer also shows some of the newer levels players will get to experience in this release, including neon lighted urban rooftops, elevator, seedy airport hangars, dirty sewers, and a thumping music stage just to name a few.
Attendees of the upcoming PAX West conference in Seattle will have the opportunity to give the latest build of the game a go. It will be at Gamescon 2019 but only for members of the press and by appointment only.
