Dovetail Games has today released Train Sim World 2020 to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is available in two editions, a standard one costing £24.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition costing £39.99.
With over 24 hours of curated gameplay per each route, Train Sim World 2020 aims to help you build up your skills as you take control of several different locos across many different visually pleasing routes.
New players of the series will receive all the new features found within the game, while players of the older versions will receive a free update for Train Sim World. If existing players don’t already own Main Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine or Long Island Rail Road, they can expand on their collection by purchasing them in the store.
• Over 24 hours of curated gameplay for each Train Sim World 2020 route via the new ‘Journey’ system. Combining tutorials, scenarios and timetabled services, this will help guide you from mission to mission so you can build up your skills.
• The brand new scoring system gives you new ways to boost your skills – how far did you miss the platform by, how late were you at each stop, how did speeding impact your final score. Full details are now visible in-game or on the post-mission debrief screen so you can constantly sharpen your skills.
• More to explore as the routes are refreshed! Train Sim World 2020 includes hundreds of services and scenarios with a wide range of freight and commuter objectives across four incredible routes – the Main Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine, Long Island Rail Road and the Great Western Express.
• The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the brand new Peninsula Corridor route, running Caltrain services from San Jose to San Francisco!
