Borderlands 3 Farming Frenzy Mini Event Starts Today

2K Games has announced that the Borderlands 3 Farming Frenzy mini-event starts today and lasts for two weeks, meaning it ends on the 30th January, 2020.

The Borderlands 3 Farming Frenzy mini-event is designed to help Vault Hunters find some of those rare and exotic enemies. A higher drop rate also means there’s a much stronger chance that these enemies will drop their specific Legendary gear when you defeat them.

Additionally, Vault Hunters will find that the Takedown At Maliwan in-game event will be much easier to handle for solo players and small squads, allowing them a much better chance at taking down the bosses and claiming their loot.

  • Rare spawns are guaranteed to appear;
  • All enemies with dedicated loot pools (e.g. rare spawns, named bosses, etc.) have a higher chance of dropping Legendary gear from their dedicated loot pool;
    • Additionally, the Anointment rate for that gear has been increased;
  • Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite’s difficulty will now scale to match the size of the player party rather than defaulting to four-player difficulty (available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One only).

So, What are you waiting for? You’ve got two weeks from now to go and claim yourself a much larger opportunity to claim some sweet legendary loot and takedown some rare spawn bosses.
