Dead or School releasing March 13th 2020

Marvelous Europe is pleased to announce that next month on March 13th, Dead or School will be arriving on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Dead or School will be available both digitally and physically in Europe and digitally available North America.

Zombies have invaded Tokyo and perhaps worse than that, they’re preventing Hisako from having a normal school life! With the apocalypse forcing survivors to live underground Hisako dreams of having a normal school life after being inspired by the gift of an old school uniform and the stories told to her by her grandmother, she decides it’s time to fight back so she can have that kind of life for herself.

In Dead or School players join Hisako on this 2.5D zombie killing adventure as you visit iconic Japanese locales such as Shinjuku, Asakusa, Akihabara and Roppongi through the subway systems whilst slaughtering the zombie menace along the way. Capable of both ranged and close combat, Hisako’s abilities can be upgraded to make her even more of a threat to the undead hordes you’ll face. As you travel throughout the game you can discover the truths of the past and how the world descended into the apocalyptic hell that it is today.

▪ Explore Tokyo in a fast-paced 2.5D adventure: Take control of Hisako and explore different areas of Tokyo through the underground subway system while defeating hordes of different zombies and huge bosses.
▪ Slice and Shoot to Salvation: Engage enemies with close-range sword attacks and long-range weapon attacks which can be combined to create deadly combination attacks on the undead army roaming the city.
▪ Upgrade and Customise your loadout: Enhance Hisako’s abilities using money and experience gained during combat with new weapons and skills.
▪ Animated cut-scenes with Japanese voice-over: Enjoy cinematic animated cut-scenes with full Japanese voice over.
