A remake of 2005’s Destroy all Humans has been announced by THQ Nordic. The game is being developed by Black Forest Games with a release date of sometime in 2020. It’s set to be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Set in the late 50’s, Destroy all Humans, follows an Alien named Crypto as he searches for his previous clone, whilst at the same time taking human DNA from brain stems to ensure his species remains immortal.
The real goal of the game though comes from the ability to wreak havoc upon its environment using, weapons, powers and even a UFO. The game was so much fun back in 2005 and looks to be just as fun in 2020.
There’s not a lot to go on at the moment, but THQ Nordic has released some PS4 screenshots which show a pretty good looking game in terms of graphics. Like the PS2 version, the game has been designed to create as close as is possible to a 50’s video game style world.
So there you go, following an initial leak, a Destroy all Humans remake has been confirmed. Something to look forward to next year, whilst we are all patiently awaiting the next-generation console releases.
