Nintendo Announces New Joy-Con Color Schemes

Fresh off the heels of announcing its new more energy-efficient version of the original Switch, Nintendo has added some new color schemes to the Joy-Con lineup, and it has to be said they look pretty damn sweet. So much better than the dull-looking grey ones and just as nice the Neon Blue/Neon Red setup I own.

The two new Joy-Con color schemes are Blue/Neon Yellow and Neon Purple/ Neon Orange. Out of the two, I personally prefer, the Blue/Yellow combo, but wouldn’t really mind either when it comes down to it.

When it comes to pricing, they will cost $79.99 in the U.S, which is quite steep but is the standard price for Joy-Con packs. Anyone wanting to get a set will have to wait until they release on October 14th.

In the meantime, here’s hoping Nintendo has addressed the ”Drifting” issue that the current Joy-Cons can start to suffer from, after all, it’s been over 2 years since the console came out and people are still having this issue.
