Risk Of Rain 2 Out Now For Consoles

Hopoo Games and Gearbox publishing have proudly announced that Risk Of Rain 2 is available to purchase and play now for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The surprise announcement was made during Gearbox’s main theatre show during PAX West on August 30th.

An online multiplayer co-op experience, Risk Of Rain 2 sees you and buddies/strangers teaming up to work your way through several levels to find a teleporter and activate it. As soon as a teleporter is activated players must defend themselves from an onslaught of aliens. It’s also possible to play the game on your own, but from what I’ve read this is probably a game that’s best played together.

Risk Of Rain 2 already has a strong community of players on PC, with over one million and it’s still only in Early Acess. Now player’s will be able to enjoy the co-op madness from the comfort of their couches if they don’t fancy sitting at a desk or just don’t have a PC.
