With WRC 8 confirmed to be releasing sometime this September to PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, developer KT Racing and publisher Big Ben have released a new trailer focusing on the game’s career mode.
In WRC games, the Career mode is the most played of each mode. After having lengthy discussions with the community of fans who play WRC, the development team decided they wanted to offer a career mode that would pack in plenty of fan-pleasing content.
WRC 8 mimics the real world with its career mode, which for the first time in the series allows the player to join a WRC team. To become the world champion players will need to progress from season to season to finally compete in the WRC category. Players will need to excel in three key areas included in the game:
- You’ll have to carefully plan your calendar to help you choose what to do between rallies.
- Manage a crew consisting of six different roles.
- Upgrade your crew through the R and D tree.
WRC 8 is confirmed to be coming at some point in September, although an exact date isn’t available yet. For more information on the WRC 8 Career mode, check out the newly released trailer below.
